Essex's county town, Chelmsford can be found upon the Can and Chelmer rivers, a car journey of roughly 32 miles from the city of London. Chelmsford boasts a populace of about one hundred and eleven thousand residents, whereas the Borough of Chelmsford has about 168,000.
